  Kingdum Hall Burning

  just watched the news and two 14 year olds have been brought into custody for questioning of the burning of the hall in middleboro....it is burning right now..... the media was interviewing an elder who was let in quickly for some important papers when one of the side walls caved in while the fire fighters were trying to put out the fire.the fire men were sent to hospital for smoke..... i wonder what was the important papers that they needed??.

  i have never known fire men to let people into a burning building before.... the whole thing sounds fishy to me....

  MIDDLEBORO, Mass. -- Three teens face arson charges Thursday in connection with the fire that destroyed the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall in Middleboro.

  Officials said the fire broke out about 8 p.m. Wednesday night, and took about an hour to bring under control -- but not before it burned down the 44-year-old building on Wareham Street.

  Witnesses told police they saw three young men leaving the scene of the fire, and the three were arrested a short time later.

  No injuries were reported.

  The three teens are to appear in Wareham Juvenile Court on arson charges.

  Police said they have no evidence the fire was a hate crime.

  I was not born in the truth, I had a bible study before I was "jumped in"

  The lady that studied with me she told me that I should not wear my "I am Bart Simpson, who the hell are you?" T-shirt. The Simpsons was not proper viewing

  My combat boots (The style at the time) were representing the military

  I could not watch "Martin" (Martin Lawrence T.V. Show) which was funny as hell, everytime I snuck and watched it I felt bad

  No R rated movies, which is not bad today because I can now catch up on all the movies I missed

  My kids had to sit with me during the bible study, they were 2 & 3 at the time

  Not til' years later that I found out that my bible studies should not have been 2 1/2 to 3 hours long, only an hour, they were torture!

  Reading CRISIS of CONSCIENCE

  im borrowing it from the library and am almost half way through.

  at times i have to put it down because it makes me so furious.

  i had a difficult time getting into it at first because its definitely not an uplifting book.

  Oh yeah, I like to go to Walmart on Sunday's to see if I can tell which people are JW's or "church folk" based on their Sunday clothes. Usually the "church folk" has something detracting themselves as a JW. Like:

  Long sideburns

  Revealing slit on the skirt

  Faddish hairstyle

  Happy

  when i wrongly df'd 5 years ago i never went back, there are jw's at my job and i sometimes see jw's on the street.

  if they smile at me i smile back since they do not know.. question - what am i officially to tell those that innocently say hi to me?

  (i would never tell them that i was df'd because i think it is wrong) but i an curious since it has been so long.. .

  You are right, I am known as the one "who speaks to everybody" and it would go against my nature not to. I know it is silly and I should not care but I "allow" it to bother me when I shouldn't. That is why I love this board!

  Thank you guys for all your responses. I see this one JW lady at work every morning as we go get breakfast in the morning at the same time, I find myself gauging whether or not she speaks to me or not that she has "found out" that I am no longer a JW. I cannot believe I let them have control over me like that! This gane has been going on for about 5 years.

  I must say that as a African American woman Serena represents a strong black woman and carrying what the men call a very nice "ba dunka dunk booty" which they LOVE. I do question som of her clothing choices since I think I would have been called into the library for doing such.

  My 4 year old daughter has declared us JW free!!!!

  well exactly as the title says...my 4 year old daughter, obviously tired of my dithering has taken matters into her own hands!.

  the background is that i was bought up in the troof, and began my fade about 6 months ago.

  i had been talking to my daughter about us not going to the meetings anymore and she accepted it very well.
